Looking for a special Saint?

You’ve come to the right place! My hope for this site is that the categories and sorting functions will help you to find the perfect person… I made this site especially for those preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation; however, anyone can learn more about the Saints and pick a patron for the year, or for a special moment in life.

Are you looking for an Irish, English or American Saint? The patron saint of sports, journalists, artists or teachers? A Saint who loved animals? A Saint who liked music? A young Saint? A married Saint? A royal Saint?

Do you have something you are struggling with, or something big happening in your life? There’s a Saint for that! Do you have a favorite hobby, a friend in need of prayers, or a place that is special to you? There’s a Saint for that!

While there are many Saint websites out there, I wanted a place where we could sort and filter through the Saints… Use the tags and categories to search through the Saints on this site. You can also use the calendar – each post is “published” on the Saint’s feast day, so click around on different days that are special to you and see what Saint comes up!

So, say a prayer, and browse through the sections… but be aware, while you are looking for that certain Saint, he or she is probably looking for you too. You choose a Saint, but they also choose you! God bless you on your time her at “Choose and Be Chosen”.
