STORY: Saint Christopher is a popular Catholic saint. He died around 251 as a martyr for the faith. Not much more is known about St. Christopher, but tradition says that because of his height, he helped people cross a dangerous river. One day he had a vision, after bringing a child across, that the child became Christ. This is why St. Christopher is depicted with the Christ child on his shoulders.
