
STORY: Saint Bartholomew was one of the 12 apostles; he is also known as Nathanael. He is believed to be the apostle mentioned in John who was “without guile (deceit, duplicity)”. He preached in Mesopotamia, Persia, and Egypt, and was skinned live and beheaded for the faith.
