STORY: We hear about Mary’s cousin St. Elizabeth in the Gospel when Mary visits her after Jesus’ incarnation. The Angel Gabriel also appeared to St. Elizabeth to tell her she would be the mother of John the Baptist. We repeat St. Elizabeth’s words “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb” every time we pray the rosary.
